NEWBIE TIP

If you've got a series of pages you want users to go through in a certain sequence, the automatic "Next" and "Previous" links in Trellix Web can be a big help. But you don't have to settle for the default left and right arrows. Under Link --> Navigational Link you'll find that you can use images, text, or even page names as your links -- choose something that matches the look of your site. Take a look at A Stroll in the Autumn -- the curly orange arrows match the site perfectly.

Need more help using this kind of navigation? We've got it on the Trellix Cafe.

SAVVY USERS' TIP

Getting noticed by search engines is more an art than an exact science.
-- Experienced Web Site Builder
Sure, that's true, but even artists need training. While we can't guarantee you'll shoot to the top of the results, we do have some ideas on how improve your ranking.

Have a tip you think others would like to see? Submit your tip and you could win fame, fortune, or maybe the world-famous Trellix t-shirt.

Not every computer game requires twitching reflexes -- the wildly popular game The Sims revolves around day-to-day life. Here's a Trellix Web site dedicated to making those little Sims happy. The site includes new items for the game, such as new clothes for your Sims -- just like Goodwill. Kinda.

See this profile on the Trellix Cafe.

Web Gem Spotlight
Give your site a jolt

We often talk about ways to give your site more pizzazz -- well here's one that will definitely do the trick: Electrifier. While it's not an actual Web Gem, Electrifier works just fine with the Build Your Own Web Gem -- and it can really make a big impression on visitors.

Electrifier lets you create your own Flash presentations online. The basic service is free -- you get to choose a design, add your own images and text, and *poof* -- it gives you some code to add to your site. That's it! In no time, you've got a high-impact presentation with your messages and photos. Find out more at the Electrifier web site.

"Do I have a website? YES, and I COULD NOT have done it without Trellix. You guys are great!!"
-- Suzanna Dreyer

"I am a very successful artist and also have a gallery built with Trellix Web showing 100 of my 1500+ works on canvas. In fact my three ex-wives got together and built with Trellix a fan club site for me that is doing very well."
-- Peter Shulman

"It was like using a word processing wizard to develop the site. I could concentrate on "content" and not have to worry about the "mechanics" of building the site."
-- Nancy Husch
